Business Partnering
▪ Ensuring high standard of service delivery throughout the execution of the HR and business
strategy.
▪ Taking overall accountability for quality in the HR value chain and processes. This includes the
entire employee and stakeholder experience from sourcing, recruitment, interviewing,
placement, onboarding benefits and offboarding.
▪ Advising and supporting employees in understanding HR policy and interpreting Code of
Conduct.
▪ Servicing customers accordingly and acting as a clear point of contact.
▪ Deploying people activities as per the HR calendar which entails Talent reviews, succession
planning as well as enabling and implementing the annual performance review cycle.
▪ Executing HR operational tasks such as off-cycle increases, transfers, promotions and lateral
moves, demotions, and Fixed-term contracts.
▪ Tracking reporting on Learning and Development Budget spend across the corporate functions
business units.
▪ Cultivating Employee Value programmes as well as wellness campaigns throughout the year.
▪ Maintaining integrity and customer obsession in line with the organisation’s standards.
Recruitment
▪ Scheduling interviews for the IT, Legal, Finance, Procurement and HR leadership Teams and
liaising with them throughout their recruitment processes.
▪ Conducting Interviews and filling vacancies for junior, middle, and senior management roles.
▪ Liaising with recruitment agencies with regards to candidate availability, Total remuneration
packages and benefits.
▪ Contacting candidates and liaising with them on a regular basis about interview dates,
remuneration packages and benefits.
▪ Scheduling and spearheading meet and greet sessions between candidates and the Executive
Committee.
▪ Conducting background checks for candidates via MIE.
▪ Conducting Interviews and filling vacancies for junior, middle, and senior management roles.
▪ Assisting with onboarding and Orientation of New joiners.
▪ Advertising vacancies on LinkedIn.
▪ Sourcing, shortlisting, and rejecting candidates on Oracle.
Talent & People Experience
▪ Assisting with the preparation and presentation of Talent Reviews for Corporate Functions
Business Units
▪ Presenting Business Implementation and action plan updates to EXCO members as part of the
People Experience Team.
▪ Tracking and capturing expenditure by the various business functions for the financial year on
our Workplace Skills Plan.
▪ Preparing Remuneration Recommendations and Offer Letters for candidates.
▪ Compiling Analytics of various business functions from the company’s headcount reports.
▪ Coordinating Employee Wellness Programmes at various sites across the country.
▪ Continuous onboarding for new joiners
▪ Remuneration Package structuring for employees.
▪ Psychometric Assessments for Potential Candidates
▪ Sourcing Candidates from LinkedIn and conducting pre-screening calls and interviews.
▪ Conduct Interviews and pre-screening interviews.
▪ Assisting with bursary applications for employees from the various BU’s
Employee and Industrial Relations
▪ Conducting Internal disciplinary hearings for ER Matters relating to gross negligence, poor performance, misconduct and non -compliance.
▪ Drafting and issuing out charges to the employees and advising them accordingly.
▪ Preparing bundles of evidence for hearings.
▪ Engaging with attorneys from various firms to provide chairperson services for hearings.
▪ Ensuring all HR policies and disciplinary codes are adhered to, updated, and regularly communicated.
▪ Conducting Internal Disciplinary Hearings between employees across the corporate functions.
