I worked with technicians on the road cleaning oil leaks , etc. I was a standby blaster as well for any blasting jobs.

As a shot blaster I worked a straight night shift. The shift started only with myself and a team leader. Being a shotblaster I was a grinder as well so the whole department’s requirements had to be met and production has to flow on the same pace as day shift. The job includes blasting weldments from rust to chrome finish.

Delivering of various products mainly in the food chain supply in and outside Cape Town.

Picking and checking as well as loading for the following day.

Making sure loads for different shops is separate.

Communication with different receiving managers and handling of admin.

Had the opportunity to lead as I was the person on the truck with the knowledge and experience of the production and the routes.

Here I improved my communication skills because my duty was to sell fibre door to door.

In my second month I got two sales less then the team leader at the time who has the most sales every month.

Then SG consumer offered me a permanent job because of my experience and I accepted the offer as Nxt level marketing was not a permanent post.
