Yiba Mkhulu is a volunteer group of young professionals in Johannesburg. Since March 2019, we have been offering academic support (Mathematics, English and Life Skills) to 25 grade 9 learners at Elethu Themba Public School in Lenasia, situated on the outskirts of Johannesburg. The name Yiba Mkhulu comes from the Zulu phrase meaning "become great".

Students enrolled in the Yiba Mkhulu program come from severely disadvantaged backgrounds.
