Keanu Davis

I was approached by twig and berries due to my previous bartending job to manage and train all the staff to get to a professional level.

My duties include:

• Managing and ordering stock (this includes the bar, kitchen and padel court equipment)
• Creating fair schedules for staff
• Assisting customers
• Managing the staffs wages and tips
• Managing the GAAP POS system
• Assist in planning functions and bookings to ensure that everything runs smoothly

Through this position I have learnt the responsibilities of being a manager, making sure my team runs smoothly while having a healthy work environment to work in. I’ve improved my communication skills with others and developed a healthy sense of authority over people. I have learnt to be fair and always assist people in need of my help/training. I have grown in confidence with my ability to trust myself and always organize and find solutions to any obstacles that may come my way. I look out for my team of staff and always ensure to put their needs before mine.

Overall this job has improved all of my skills immensely due to the more responsibility I have had to take on.

In this job I was one of the main barman in which I was given an opportunity to build up my people skills as I would interact with all kinds of different people every shift.

I thoroughly enjoyed the social atmosphere as well as learning the behind the scenes of how to run a bar/business. I learned to work together with the other barmen on shift and how to get my work done as efficiently as possible whilst under the pressure of a very busy night.

I coached kids aged 12-14 in:

- Rugby

- Cricket

- Hockey

In these years i used my passion for sport to positively impact young and growing talented children.

• Promoted sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive attitudes among athletes both on and off the field.
• Increased player skill levels with the implementation of targeted drills and practice sessions.
• Adapted coaching style based on individual learning preferences of athletes for more effective instruction leading better understanding key concepts techniques required optimal performance.

Through this experience i learned the importance of being a role model and how to construct a team that works well together.
