I am a young, motivated individual who has always seen the world with practical eye. I prefer working with my hands, however I am very keen on studying and constantly bettering myself. I chose to be a Millwright because of the multi-disciplined aspect of the trade and strive to become a well-rounded artisan. The inner workings of tools and machines have always fascinated me, and I like repairing them. I recently qualified as a millwright and am currently looking for a company in which I can invest my time and effort and continue to grow and develop my skills.

- Company Overview: Situated in Germiston is one of the largest converters of wire in South Africa. We specialise in the production and supply of quality wire and wire products ranging from international mining houses and major construction companies to private domestic users.
- Working alongside a millwright doing factory production line maintenance and machinery breakdowns.
- Repairing and/or installing motors, drives, variable speed drives, proximity sensors and encoders.
- Pump repair and installation, maintaining servicing and replacing compressors.
- Wire testing load testing and troubleshooting on circuits for fault finding.
- Installing new electrical cables, splicing cables and phasing out cables where needed.
- Making keys, timing adjustments, replacing bearings, proxy's, and decoders.
