I am a Bachelor of Social Work student at the University of Pretoria with a strong interest in forensic social work and protecting the rights and well-being of vulnerable individuals. Through my academic training and fieldwork placement, I have gained practical experience in psychosocial assessments, case management, counseling, report writing, and crisis intervention. I have completed an 8-session casework intervention, facilitated a 6-session group work programme, and participated in community development projects, which have strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and professional skills. I enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and am committed to ethical practice, confidentiality, and evidence-based decision-making. I am eager to continue developing my knowledge and skills in forensic social work while making a meaningful contribution to the justice and social service sectors.
