- In 2022 in honours I conducted a gross anatomy cadaveric study on the variations in the branching patterns of the inferior mesenteric artery. During the course of my research I had to write a proposal, submit my proposal to the tissues ethics then use cadavers for data collection using the proper dissections procedures thereafter perform data analysis using STATA, SPSS and excel to draw inferences and conclusions.
- From 2023 until now for my Masters research, I’m conducting a microscopic anatomy (histology) study about the effects of cannabidiol on the neuroanatomy and neurogenesis in diabetic Sprague Dawley rats. I had to write a proposal, submit it to animals ethics for the approval to use rat brain tissues. Data collection is done by sectioning tissues using a cryostat and staining tissues according to the study proposal.

- I conducted research on the effects of smoking on blood pressure amongst students in Walter Sisulu University, Mthatha Campus. During the course of my research I had to write a proposal, recruit research participants using informed consent. Conduct data collection then perform data analysis using SPSS and excel. I applied ethical considerations throughout all stages of the research process, safeguarding participant welfare and data integrity. The research was conducted to increase knowledge and to provide valuable contributions to science. I also got a distinction for my dissertation.
