I'm kaylin. I've been in the banking sector for the past 7-8 years. Began my journey on a learnership and from there been to numerous clusters, departments and product housing sub sectors within the bank. I have exposure in vehicle financing, home loans, Credit and Asset Recoveries as well as exposure within the front end Card servicing operations teams within the bank. I have two qualifications. NQF level 5 in Banking Services as well as an NQF 6 in financial markets and Instruments. I work well within a team. I can serve well as a strong and supportive team player when taking on projects, tasks and advocates functions to ensure we achieve targets and goals set out by the business. I am extremely passionate, dedicated and relentless on succeeding and striving for growth as an individual.

  • Began my role in the Nedbank Card servicing and operations department in April 2024. I was placed in the delivery and distribution team. My core functions at the time were to administer and facilitate in providing instructions to the bank's delivery vendors achieve successful deliveries of card products and POS devices to Nedbank clients, branches both nationwide and world.

  • Worked as an Application Assessor (AA) in the Nedbank Homeloans front operations side of the Homeloans product housing sector of the bank. My core functions were to process and capture applications that came through different channels such as client, branch, sales and the mortgage origin space. Client applications included New loans and existing loan request to be amended.

  • I worked in the Nedbank vehicle and asset finance cluster as an administrator in the Recoveries side of the business. The department was a business Support department to the greater vehicle and Asset finance recoveries cluster of the business. My core job functions were to provide restructuring of vehicle accounts that were both in arrears and up to date. I was responsible for assisting clients with payment arrangements, restructuring of arrears as well as undertaking adhoc functions with other support teams within the department.
  • Assist in fulfilling client requests in regard to payment holidays, due date changes, respreading of arrears and assisted with account term extensions as well as Debt review restructuring in order to assist clients with recovering from missed payments, arrears and reducing the VAF impairment ratio.

My core responsibilities and role functions were to contribute towards reducing the Nedbank Homeloans impairments bad books by starting, facilitating, driving and completing the litigation process of legally attaching the property should the client fail to commit to payment arrangements or settle the total outstanding arrears owed on the Homeloan account.
