Authorized by the Authorities to conduct assessments and evaluations on cabin crew and instructors to ensure that the required standards of competence in safety and emergency procedures and aviation knowledge and security is met by the relevant parties. A CDE is also responsible in providing training and ensuring that training and the assessment criteria adheres to the standards of the Authority.

Responsible to provide both theory and practical training to cabin crew members to ensure the successful handling of potential threats or emergencies on-board the aircraft.
