• Manage professional project teams and relevant committees for a particular project or package of projects
• Apply a body of specialist, professional knowledge and experience in the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management, including contractual disputes, breaches or poor performance within the Department
• Manage the procurement process of projects
• Monitor, control and report on project/programme implementation Identify and extract data and information to assist client departments with the drafting of their user asset management plan
• Research and study literature to keep abreast of new technologies and procedures, including interaction with professional Councils, Boards and organisations
• Assisting technical staff to achieve the pre-determined performance; indicators and service delivery imperatives
• Management of framework, term service and consultant agreements including appointment and payment processes
• Accurately take client brief and structure project proposals
• Deliver top quality professional services to meet client objectives of time, cost, quality and risk parameters
• Cost monitoring on monthly basis
• Keep updated to the latest trends and best practices to improve best possible services of the client
• Overseeing the identification and mitigation of process interruptions, blockages and excessive handovers causing delay of project implementation
• Quality assurance of reports associated with the Contract Management function in accordance with the applicable Regulatory Framework/s, Guidelines and Protocols
• Providing input, leading and directing activities associated with project planning and programme to influence preventative Projects
• Execute a contract management function for all contracts after tender award in line with the Contracts Management Framework, applicable Policy, procedures and legislation

• Ensuring subcontractors programmes aligns to the baseline programme and monitoring subcontractor performance
• Monitoring the usage of material onsite to ensure that it is in line with the BOQ/drawings
• Monitoring the compliance of works with quality standards
• Ensuring that the company complies with contractual obligations
• Attending progress meeting and technical meetings
• Compiling and presenting detailed monthly project progress reports
• Maintaining cordial relationship with all project stakeholders
• Managing all aspects of the construction contracts from start to finish
• Ensuring that projects are delivered within time and quality standards
