Summary

I started working full time when I was nineteen years old. I had an excellent pass in my final year of high school achieving a 72% overall pass rate. but was not at the financial means to continue to tertiary education. I then started working and applied my dedication and intelligence to whatever task was put before me. This has always been my recipe for success along with one other very important character trait - perseverance.

Furthermore, having run a sales orientated business means I have excellent communication skills. Having to deal with customers from both local and abroad means my English needed to be excellent.

In September 2002 I started my own business in furniture retail called Beds4U-Tokai. I had worked in this business for the previous four years and had earned a reputation as an excellent salesman and store manager. I was therefore rewarded with then opportunity to open my own franchise. Further achievements while running the business include:-

  • Sourced initial funding to get business up and running while planning initial structure and making strategic first hires.
