Karabo Maripane

Adept at spearheading successful fundraising initiatives, I significantly boosted contributions for the Youth Club through dynamic event organization and strategic team collaborations. My punctuality and professionalism, coupled with a knack for adaptability and fostering teamwork, have been pivotal in reaching fundraising targets and enhancing charitable efforts.

I completed a combined 20km hike at Groenkloof nature reserve which was 10km for two consecutive nights in 2019.

I was one of the top 5 best students of the Ekhurhuleni District in the first quater of the year, matric 2020.

I was part of the school choir in Primary school, that was from 2012 to 2015. I then became one of the lead singers at church in 2014 to 2016. In 2024 I shadowed a Physiotherapist and gained some knowledge about how to run a practice and gained an insight about dry needling in physiotherapy and I was also allowed to treat some patients under supervision.

I like creative writing, especially poems. Creative writing is a way in which I can express myself in a complex way that need to be unpacked. I enjoy writing and I wrote my first poem at the age of 12 when I was in the 7th grade. I found it to be relieving as it was a way of venting and I did not struggle in writing the poems. I continued over the years, progressing to writing a play in 2020. I also love going to church, it just bring me peace and happiness.
