Summary
I have a strong ability to visualise in 3D probably because of the hours I spent playing Minecraft and Lego when I was young. Art, maths and EGD have been my favourite subjects at school, with EGD giving me a lot of joy.
I recently did a Linework course at the School of Explorative Architecture that made me think this is the direction I would like to move in for my career. I think my unique strength is that I like to include concepts into my work, making the work mean more. I would like to explore this one day in architectural design.
I excelled as volunteered at the Baphumelele Children's Home in Khayelitsha by organising events and coming up with ways to make them more fun. The feedback I got was that my leadership, friendly nature and love for kids helped contribute to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring engaging programs. I was responsible for putting together the project feedback for our group and did this through a PowerPoint presentation and social media, showing what we learnt while serving the children.
