I learned the game in my last year in high school on my way back home standing outside the park, a friend explained to me the basic function of each piece on the board as some elders were playing and the following day at school I joined the chess club and participated in a tournament where my opponent being impressed at my defensive strategy and congratulated me thinking that I have been playing for long, surprised that I had just leaned the game the previous day

Since then I got hooked, unfortunately could not join a local club, but I decided to continue playing the game online challenging a couple of people worldwide and sometimes with a few friends that come around
