Experience from various financial/commercial roles, tertiary studies and hunger for knowledge allows me to take a step back, analyze data at hand and make calculated commercial decisions to drive performance.

As a Financial Analyst at Thomson Reuters, I gained extensive knowledge in analysis, reporting, forecasting and financial modelling. This allows me to formulate business plans and drive efficiencies to drive bottom line growth.

As a Regional Business Manager (RBM) at KWV, I not only get to do the above mentioned, but I get to manage the implementation of the plan. As a RBM, I am responsible for the entire P&L of my African Markets and manage each country as a separate business. I am responsible for the planning and management of internal & external partners to drive top-line and bottom-line growth.

Through the restructuring of our RTM models, re-engineering of our Value Chains and managing our in-market distributors I have managed CAGR of 59% of Gross Revenue and CAGR of 76% of Trading Profit from 2019 to 2022.

The accuracy and timely delivery of Sales Pipeline reporting and Sales Forecast is an important factor for any strategic planning in both short- and long term. I am part of the team that worked in collaboration with an 3rd party company to build a new reporting tool for our company to automate and improve the Sales Pipeline reporting, drive Pipeline Management and drive the accuracy of our monthly Sales Forecasts. The tool uses algorithms taking into consideration the current Pipeline and historical trends to predict future outcomes. We were awarded the “2017 Annual Finance Spotlight Award” which is the most prestigious award in finance at Thomson Reuters.
