As a Regional Business Manager (RBM) at KWV, I not only get to do the above mentioned, but I get to manage the implementation of the plan. As a RBM, I am responsible for the entire P&L of my African Markets and manage each country as a separate business. The accuracy and timely delivery of Sales Pipeline reporting and Sales Forecast is an important factor for any strategic planning in both short- and long term. I am part of the team that worked in collaboration with an 3rd party company to build a new reporting tool for our company to automate and improve the Sales Pipeline reporting, drive Pipeline Management and drive the accuracy of our monthly Sales Forecasts. The tool uses algorithms taking into consideration the current Pipeline and historical trends to predict future outcomes. We were awarded the “2017 Annual Finance Spotlight Award” which is the most prestigious award in finance at Thomson Reuters.
My core role was to formulate and implement technical commission structures for the European, Africa and Russian Sales Executives.
