Imports- Angola:

  • Receiving file Convert the customer export file to service order;
  • Liaising and pro-active communication with customer/agent;
  • Arranging for the appropriate documents from the customer/agent
  • Arranging for the appropriate shipping / export documentation;

  • Updating the “to do actions” actions relating to the shipping departments in company system;

Third Country:

  • Quoting for the country that you are responsible for,
  • Securing of the move that you have quoted for,
  • Receiving Waybill/Pre-alert from agent;
  • Opening customer third country file or converting the customer file to a service order;
  • Liaising and Pro-active communication with customer/agent;
  • Arranging for the appropriate document from customer for customs clearance;
  • Arranging for the appropriate shipping / import documentation;
  • Billing of the file (if applicable)
  • Updating the ‘to do actions’ relating to the shipping department in company system
  • Updating the company systems relating to the shipping function.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Imports: Angola

  • Updating the “to do” actions relating to the shipping department in RedSky;
  • Updating the RedSky systems relating to the shipping function;
  • Arranging for signed acceptance of the AMS quotation, if not received via the sales department.
  • The collection of documentation that is required for the move;
  • Forwarding the documentation to Operations Department for the application of the import license.
  • Chasing the operation department for the import license number.
  • Proactive communication with the agent regarding the issuing of the license number.
  • Advising of consigning details from the agent;
  • Forwarding the clearing documentation to the Operations Department for the seafreight / airfreight
  • Pro-active communication our origin/destination agents and customers
  • Billing and collection of monies for outlays and destination services ( non Harmony agent)
    Compile and forward a complete feedback package to agent after delivery
  • Filing in customer file all relevant documents.

Third Country:

  • Quoting for the country that you are responsible for,

  • Sending a thank you letter to the agent, acknowledging receipt of the waybill and thanking them for the shipment;
  • Contacting the customer/agent to arrange for documentation
  • Forwarding the customs documents to the agent for customs clearance;
  • Pro-active communication with our origin/destination agents and customers;
  • Invoicing and charging of all shipments;
  • Booking the delivery of the shipment;
  • Forwarding complete feedback package to agent;
  • Filing in customer file all relevant documents.
