Scraper Winch Proximity Detection System

I am part of the Scraper Winch Proximity Detection System (PDS) team at Epiroc. My contributions to the development of the Winch PDS include:

• Developed comprehensive firmware-based product testing procedures, significantly improving the ability to detect defects prior to deployment.
• Designed and implemented the power supply unit, enabling seamless integration with the winch starter box.
• Assisted in the development of the cable solution, which provided power and communication between the controller and peripheral sensors, and generated the magnetic field used for detection.
• Fostered a collaborative team environment by actively contributing during meetings, offering solutions, and providing constructive feedback.

Trackless Proximity Detection System – Cross-Team Contributions

On occasion, I have been required to assist other engineering teams outside of my primary role. My contributions to the Trackless PDS team include:

• Enhanced the user interface by adding Level 9 icons and implementing screen rotation functionality.
• Improved proximity detection handling, increasing system reliability in operational environments.
• Supported the development of a log viewer tool to streamline data analysis and diagnostics.
