During my 18 years of work experience, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge in the field of organizational planning and development, Strategic capability and leadership, Communication, Programme and project management. Service delivery innovation, Decision making, People management and empowerment of many different fields of services. The ability to negotiate and work with clients and professionals who can sometimes be extremely difficult and oppositional is one of my best attributes. My work experience equipped me to plan and organize carefully but also to respond calm and collectively to emergencies and unexpected circumstances. I am able to assess circumstances/risk and act appropriately, analyze information and am able to present these in a manner that effects impact and change. I have a record of loyalty and trustworthiness and this is recorded when I was managing a social work division at a unit after services to offenders was not accessible for a long period this includes the ground work of starting a mother baby unit at the correctional facility. My experience and ability to lead and work independently serves as proven record in this regard. I am results driven and also have strong written and verbal communication skills, which I developed naturally with report writing, operational plans, and court and parole reports. I have a very good understanding of the organizational culture of the Department and have the knowledge, attitude and skills to empower, motivate, support and give guidance to people in order to effect change in a developing profession. I adapt very easily to change and would add value to any organization due to my extensive experience in the Developmental Social Service Delivery environment.
