Successfully build JMB Plastics (Pty) Ltd from the ground-up to a major key supplier

Started JMB Plastics (Pty) Ltd with only R 3000.00 available on-hand as set-up capital. Worked very long hours by buying, collecting and sorting plastic waste by hand in various grades for resell. I did the buying, collection, sorting and selling by myself for 6 month's - the profit i made on a daily basis was used after 6 month's to purchase my first two machines - Granulator and a plastic recycling extruder to manufacture high quality LDPE & HDPE plastic granules . JMB Plastics quickly grew over time into a major high quality plastic - first generation ex-factory plastic waste - recycled and pelletized supplier in South Africa. Supplying near Virgin quality plastic Polymers to customers all over South Africa. 

The company started with myself and my wife, after 18 months trading - the staff compliment was already standing at 75 people. 

JMB Plastics had 5 of the very best Plastic recycling machines available in the industry, 3 x trucks, 5 x huge granulator's. The company started with a monthly turnover of R 25000.00 on buying and selling to a monthly turnover of R 2,5 million per month


Had no option but to close it due to extreme load-shedding from Eskom
