My name is Johannes Moeng Moganedi, a technician in the South African Air Force (SANDF). I joined the air force in 10 January 2007 and did the basic military training before i started with my technician journey. Six months after finishing with my basic military training that's when my journey as a technician started at 68 Air School then got transferred to air force base makhado in Louis Tricardt, did my apprenticeship on BAE Hawk MK120 in all armament roles. Qualified in February 2009 as an aircraft weapon electro-mechenician( armament technician) and got posted at 85 Combat flying school as an armament technician up until ene of March 2018. In April 2018 got transferred to 2 Squadron to start working on the Saab Jas39 Gripen as a Gripen type technician were my roles is to service the whole aircraft,from avionics, electrical, mechanical, safety equipment, airframe structure, recce and armament systems. Currently still maintaining and producing high level of service standard.
