JOHANN JONKER

I am an HSE Professional with extensive experience in the Marine, Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy sector as well as Mechanical Engineering from team member to team Manager in various projects. I have a diverse background having to work with different cultures and nationalities on various assignments across the globe from Safety Officer, Safety Supervisor through to Client HSE Representative and currently Aramco Offshore projects HSE Coordinator. I am a disciplined and motivated individual that will reach targets and goals with the assistance of the team and I can accomplish work assignments independently as well. I am fluent in English as well as Afrikaans, the local South African language and I have the ability to negotiate and influence on various levels throughout companies and projects. I have a wide variety of skills with a diverse background from South African Naval ships and submarines, oil and gas exploration & production, oil and gas drilling and work over, shipyard projects & construction, seismic survey as well as renewable energy offshore wind farm constructions and various project HSE Management. I am a proud disciplined individual with a military background where I qualified and served on submarines in the SA Navy where the health and safety of each crew member is of utmost importance. The same principle applies to my career as Health Safety and Environmental Practitioner.
