Almost 3 years recent employment at the international oil and gas logistics company Regis in Pemba where I gained firsthand knowledge of the political and security situation in Cabo Delgado.

8 years fleet management experience on remote sites in West, Central and East Africa.

· Experience in overcoming logistical issues related to customs / cross border parts shipments by selecting quality local suppliers in Pemba, Nampula, Nacala and Maputo to support our operation.

· Established an onsite parts store with critical and maintenance parts with min/max levels to eliminate downtime and reduce costs related to airfreight.

· Experienced in preventing losses by using fuel consumption reports, tire serialization optimal route planning and using satellite tracking and fleet reporting as a management tool.

· I am also a qualified diesel mechanic with experience working in Africa and the Middle east.
Passionate about employee development doing skills development like on the job training and task specific training ensuring a Development Action Plan for identified national employees.

· Proven experience in Mozambiquan logistic fleet management ensuring compliance of a 160-machine fleet.
Implement a reliability turnaround program to eliminate breakdowns on the fleet.

· Responsible for the upkeep of all maintenance related processes and procedures of the ISO 9001 quality system.eg equipment files, registration and import and export documentation.

· Experienced in budgeting and cost management constantly providing accurate reporting to management on over or under expenditure.

· Highly skilled in managing client and supplier relationship.

· The last 8 years working as expat on remote sites in Africa and the Middle East staying in camps.

· I am highly skilled in the repair and maintenance of land cruiser and HiLux vehicles as it IS the preferred vehicle on mining sites in Africa

· I have no criminal record or any pending cases against me.
