There’s something magical about trading the hum of the city for the hush of nature. I  knows this well — the crunch of gravel under hiking boots, the scent of wild herbs on a mountain breeze, the rhythmic sway of a horse beneath the saddle. Each outing is a new chapter, written in sweat, laughter, and the quiet awe of open skies.

Some days, it’s the rugged trails of the Cape Town mountains, where each summit rewards with panoramic views and a sense of earned peace. Other days, it’s the gentle gallop across a sun-drenched ranch, the bond between rider and horse as natural as the wind through the mane.

It’s not just exercise — it’s soul work. A way to reconnect with the earth, with breath, with joy. And in those moments, whether on foot or horseback, i am not ’t just moving through the world. I enjoy a simple calm experience. Cape Town offers enough opportunities for this expirience.
