Dynamic architectural designer with extensive experience in building planning and project management, notably with Galeshewe Town Council. Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling, I excel in design development and team collaboration, driving impactful projects that uplift communities in the Northern and Western Cape. Committed to affordability and social upliftment.
I do building plans according to customer specifications and municipal approval requirements.
This started during my high school years before i matriculated in 1988 and allowed me to work in the construction industries immediately after 1988, specializing in cabinetry and door making for Advento Agencies. A year and half later, I was employed by the Galeshewe Town Council as a planning assistent. My tertiary education was then shaped here and was offered a two part programme to study and work as a town and regional planner for two years.
During these schooling years at Cape Technikon, Galeshewe was amalgamated to Kimberley City Council and my services were no longer needed after a year at this institution in 1991.
I ended up returning to school to try and complete my studies on my own with no bursary. This was tough and I ended up working to survive at the South Peninsula Municipality until 1995. A Nasfas loan enabled me to continue my studies for a year in 1996.
Circumstances prompted me to return home and I started my own ventures then as a service provider. My growth here has been steady but slow, establishing a reputation in designs, project management and property developer...specializing in upgrading the livelihood of poorer communities in the northern cape and western cape with Tiro Projects. Affordability was the essence of all projects.
We ended up doing tender services in construction for government in between, until Co-vid 19 hit. Now we have resigned to our initial building planning and designs and a few voluntary services inbetween.
My activism is in social upliftment of poorer communities especially.
