I worked at Vistas beach front cafe during my gap year in 2019. I was expected to be a barista and waitress.

I volunteered at Mozambique Horse Safaris, a tourism company which rescued horses from Zimbabwe after many farmers were moved off their land. I was expected to take care of the horses and guide guests on outrides. During my time in Mozambique I was also asked to take over the managers role for two weeks on Benguerra Island and supervised the care of the horses and the staff tasks during her absence.
