  • Lead the Strategic Programs and Binational Initiatives departments within the Strategy Division. Key achievements include:
  • Designed and led water-related research on security, conservation, wastewater reuse, groundwater, and desalination.
  • Provided strategic direction to align the organization with national and international best practices in infrastructure and water management.
  • Advised senior management on infrastructure development, water security, and policy reform.
  • Developed tools for best practice in strategic infrastructure programs, aligned with South Africa’s National Infrastructure Plan, focusing on water and sanitation.
  • Built sustainable partnerships with national and regional institutions, leveraging synergies to promote effective water governance and infrastructure delivery.
  • Managed multi-disciplinary mega-projects across transport, water services, sanitation, and ports; negotiated and managed strategic partnerships locally and across Africa.
  • Since April 2016, led two multi-billion rand integrated programs under the Presidential Infrastructure Coordination Commission, including major water and sanitation initiatives.
  • Serve on the Technical Advisory Committee advising the Department of Water and Sanitation on procurement for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

  • Motivated, planned, and project managed a country-wide multimillion rand groundwater supply project providing safe drinking water to the people of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Free State, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, and North and West. Through this project, TCTA and DWS provided water to several households that previously lacked access to water.
  • Originated, planned, designed and project managed small water projects. Some of the research work and projects executed include:
  • Water Conservation Study for Rustenburg Municipality.
  • Water Resources Evaluation Study for Mbombela.
  • Several sector specific Community of Practice and Knowledge Sharing Reports.
