Jenny Bergstedt is an experienced educator with experience teaching English Home and Additional language, at mainstream and special needs schools. Jenny has taught in South Africa and the UAE. She has taught at boys only, girls only and co-ed schools. She has been exposed to different curricula over three decades. She taught grade 6 to grade 12. Jenny describes herself in the following way, "I am a multi-skilled, tenacious and committed person. I am a creative, lateral thinker and a rapid learner. I always have a pleasant rapport with students and colleagues. I believe in the holistic teaching approach, to develop young minds into creative, critical thinkers who are collaborative and tolerant and will add value to society. My teaching philosophy is student centered; I always engage students' interest and creativity by making connections between learning contexts and the world as they understand and experience it.
