Day and field trips

Close monitoring of the teaching of Afrikaans in the Sp Department by checking the following on a regular basis:

• the amount and quality of work in books
• adherence to curriculum
• moderating cycle tests and examination papers
• controlling budgets for Afrikaans, Afrikaans Fun Day and Afrikaans Fundraising.
• controlling stock for Afrikaans.
• supervisory support and planning for Language exempt pupils.
• close monitoring of the remedial Afrikaans lessons.
• monitoring of conversational Afrikaans lessons.

Head of Drama

• Controlling stock and budget for Drama.
• Write, direct and produce plays. (school and staff)
• Design and organise costumes and décor.

Head of Leadership development

• To guide and monitor the Grade 7 pupils in various areas in order to develop their leadership abilities and possible promotion of their councillor status.
