- This was a valuable experience for me, and I was able to put a lot of education theory into practice, with the support and guidance of my colleagues and mentor, Kerry Kay
- In 2022 I assisted in a grade 4/5 classroom where many of the students had learning difficulties including ADHD and Dyslexia
- In this class I was working alongside an experienced teacher and together we were able to let the children work in groups suitable to their ability level and be able to give them more one-on-one time to focus on their learning needs

- I tutored some Grade 7 students, helping them with their online schooling while they studied from home
- One of my students had fallen quite far behind but, within just a few weeks, we were able to hunker down and catch up about 6 weeks of work
- I have also tutored Grade 2s and 3s – a very different experience to the Grade 7s and I have truly enjoyed seeing the vast difference in tutoring these ages
