• Caring and supporting service users with cancer, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's diseases
• Assisting service users with daily personal care routines like bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting and stoma cleaning and dressing.
• Monitoring the mental health and wellbeing of service users and reporting any significant changes.
• Providing emotional support to service users and families by listening to them and discussing concerns.
• Assisting service user and other health care professionals with any medical needs, including attending appointments or administering medication, if necessary
• Assisting those in my care with mobility and transfers using correctly specialized equipment.
• Supporting service users to be an active part of their local community by taking part in activities and socializing with family and friends when they can.

• Facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams to maintain an open dialogue about ongoing care needs.
• Mitigating patient-care risks with regular equipment safety checks.
• Medication administration under supervision of licensed healthcare providers, following established protocols for dosage accuracy and timing.
• Recognized, recorded and reported vital signs, abnormalities or changes in patients' health status to senior doctors and health care professionals.
• Assisted patients with daily personal care and grooming.
• Providing emotional support to patients and their families, addressing any questions and concerns in the best way possible.
• Making sure the environment is safe, comfortable and clean at all times.
• Assisting patients with mobility, transferring them safely between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs as needed.
• Cleaning and dressing wounds from accidents and injuries.

• Helping with domestic tasks, such as machine laundry and cleaning.
• Supporting service users with shopping, budgeting and managing finances.
• Assisting with mobility transfers

• Assisting with non medical tasks such as mobility and transfers of patients and delivery equipment within the nursing home.
• Effectively communicating with service users by listening to them and conversing.
• Offering companionship by reading to them as well as doing some activities with them according to their interests and hobbies.
• Assisted service users with food intake when needed.
• Participating in volunteer training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills of caregiving.
• Collaborating with other healthcare staff to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for service users.
