I am a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Wits University, an MDP from University of Stellenbosch Business School. I'm a certified MCSA as well as ITIL certified.

I have over 25 years work experience in the ICT industry both in South Africa and abroad. My experience includes the solution architecture and detailed design of internal infrastructures, cloud infrastructure and applications, SP model cloud infrastructures, as well as customer specific solutions. Being directly involved in the project management and deployment of all my solutions is part of my character, ensuring everything I'm involved with is performed and completed with the highest level of professionalism.

My work experience includes hands-on technical and operational roles, as well as management positions of technical and operational teams responsible for large, mission-critical, high-availability infrastructures in both enterprise and Telco/ISP environments. These include Nedbank's Internet Banking platform and all internal web-based applications, Dimension Data's (now NTT) Managed Hosting Services, and most of AB-InBev's solutions in Africa over the last three years.

  • Understanding and documenting the customer's business requirements, current business processes, and laboratory workflow
  • -Designing technical solutions, improved workflow, more streamlined business processes, and then implementing and integrating these into the various Laboratory Information Management System modules in-line with the defined roadmap
  • Deployment of Hardware, Software, Operating Systems, SANs, Web Servers, SQL databases, Clusters, Microsoft RemoteApp Applications and NetLIMS Modules
  • Cloud migration of VMs, SQL databases, and websites
