  • Composite repair technician/collision-repair technician responsible for carbon-fibre repairs and preparation for paint. A highly specialised field, I used my experience as a car mechanic from a young age to repair or remould parts that were damaged in accidents.
  • Custom-built construction of parts in carbon/kevlar and aluminium. A lot of parts we replaced could not simply be ordered, these had to be designed and built to spec. In the industry we would also get a lot of requests to change certain aspects of the car cosmetically. I would use my skills to engineer and build these.
  • Managing a team of four mechanics, ensuring they worked efficiently and to budget on all jobs.
  • Responsible for all day-to-day workshop operations, including service, repair and restorations requiring management of parts sourcing, outsourcing of work, scheduling of timescales.

  • During my time with this team I completed 53 races.
