ALICE PRYOR

I am a committed and experienced English educator with a strong grounding in the Cambridge curriculum, currently teaching and leading English from IGCSE through to A-Level at Generation Schools Sandown. I am now looking to further my career and follow my love of the written word by moving into editing and copywriting - a direction that draws on both my subject knowledge and my passion for precision, clarity, and impactful communication. I have developed content for GenEx (Generation Schools' online platform) and UCT Online High School, and mark for both CIE and OCR - experiences that have taught me to meet high standards under pressure, with a consistent editorial voice. I'm known for my eye for detail, ability to manage tight deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities calmly and effectively. While I work well with others, I am highly motivated and enjoy working independently. I take full ownership of my work, whether delivering lessons, designing assessment tools, or building new content. I am excited to bring this focus, adaptability and linguistic expertise to a new, creative role in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.
