Heading up the store development team for all brands in the Pepkor Speciality stable being Refinery, Tekkie Town, Shoe City, CODE, S.P.C.C and Dunns for the overseeing the last 8 years overseeing the strategic planning, site selection, concept design, store design and layout, project management, vendor management, financial management, project and departmental budgeting including capital expenditures and operating expenses, collaboration over all departments, reporting and analysis of projects and leaderships and team development.

Responsible for the planning, execution, and closure of various property development projects in the retail sector for brands such as Pep, Ackermans, Shoe City, Dunns.

Involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders, managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Overseeing a team of professionals, including suppliers, engineers, and construction workers, to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role required strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
