I provide customer service at the cash desk counter, which involves communicating with the customers about the type of transaction they wish to perform, as well as advising them on which games to play and carrying out the transactions in a courteous and timely fashion
I also work as a vault cashier, where I coordinate with supervisors about the cash levels in the various cages and then delivering the money in a timely fashion
I also operate the internal ATM machines by monitoring their cash levels, and when they are low I must collect refilled boxes from the vault and deliver them to the internal ATM machines
This requires physical strength because the boxes must by physically delivered to the internal ATMs and the empty boxes must be returned to the vault
I also work at the casino cash centre, where all the cash generated on the previous day must be sorted, counted, banked, resealed and sent back to the cash desk vault
We spend about 5 continuous hours counting the money (while standing up), packing them into boxes and hoisting those heavy boxes into the main vault
I also work in the cash up office of the Food and Beverage department, where I perform mostly administrative tasks, which includes ensuring that all cash up documents, credit card settlements and void sheets are sorted and filed according to the correct date
I’m also responsible for delivering all these files to the main Admin department by 10am every morning
This requires being able to work under pressure.
