- Oversee all the lab technicians and quality controllers
- Coordinate the preparation of samples for analysis by external laboratories, ensuring accurate crushing, labelling, documentation, and proper handling for analysis
- Collect drill samples before blasting in the quarry
- Verify that all products loaded onto trucks pass lab tests
- Ensure that samples are retained for future reference, maintaining a systematic storage system for easy retrieval
- File non-conformance reports for products that do not meet established standards

- Conduct thorough sand grading analysis for both finished stockpile products and incoming raw materials

- Conduct daily grading of delivered sands and inform supplier of any irregularities and impurities

- Conduct periodic inspection of in-process and final products
