A program at a girls' school called Saint Marry's was started by the school where I studied, Inscape. Students were taught a field of study they wished to pursue to determine if it was something they wanted to pursue as a career. The program was known as culture hour and took place after school every Monday for 1 hour. Among the duties I had as a teacher of interior design and decorating were:
In 2021 I worked for Yolanda as a Personal Assistant. She is a project manager and has her own business as a model agency. Starting, I helped her with interior decoration for her office. I made boards and a price list with all the furniture and space layouts. My task was to keep the two business schedules from overlapping. Clients called me to make appointments, and I had to tell her when meetings and events happened. I also had the duties of running the model agency website by creating posts and organizing events for her. I helped her with anything she required, from running personal earns to helping her organize her daily schedule. I also worked with the models and helped with new ideas and events.
As part of practical briefs, we had to collect more than 120 hours at any design company. I had the opportunity to join FM Architectures, where I became an intern for a short time. I was exposed to a real work environment in the building industry, learning how to work with clients and manufacturers. I had the chance to work with colleagues and gain more work experience. They gave me my small project and instructions to follow:
As part of a second-year project, we had to arrange and organize a
fundraiser. We had to find a solution to assemble enough money to
give to an organization of our choice. The organization could use this
money for anything useful they needed. We chose the New Jerusalem
Children's Home, an organization that takes care of children that take
in any children who don't have a home. By creating multiple bake
sales, we finally gathered enough money to give to the school. They
used the money to buy blankets for the children's beds for the more
won't. My tasks were to help with advertising, sales and selling
products.
Worked part-time with a company having creating new furniture with the following tasks:
Hard Knock Target manufactures steel. During my three months with them, I had the opportunity to work with them. In addition to creating their website, I also helped them design their logo and social media presence. I created a Facebook and Instagram account for them to get them started. Once a week, I made their posters and posted their price list daily. Responsibilities included ensuring that everything ran smoothly with other duties such as:
As a Sunday school teacher, my responsibilities included assisting with morning classes, distributing homework, and helping students complete it. It was my responsibility to mark their work and take care of them every morning.
As part of Metric 2018, we were required to collect hours in any restaurant or bakery. As a young worker, duties included cleaning and making coffee in the small bakery. Responsibilities included working behind the till as well as waiting tables. Some of my small jobs were taking out the trash, getting the mail and duties such as:
