• Maintaining admiralty charts, tables, nautical publications, rules, regulations, manuals, etc.
• Maintenance of all lifesaving and firefighting equipment in accordance with the requirements of the Planned Maintenance System;
• Taking charge of mooring / unmooring operations as required by the Master;
• Well familiar with SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW, LSA Code, FFE Code, ISM Code, CoSWP, GMDSS, Ship Captain’s Medical Guide, etc
• Medical Officer ensuring that the ship’s hospital is well kept and adequately replenished as per flag state and company requirements;
