Led a small diverse team of 12 people developing multiple products for the Global Mercedes IT Centre of Competence in the Manufacturing domains. As the solution architect and technical product owner of SFMdigital, my team achieved a global rollout to all Mercedes-Benz plants worldwide, including BBAC in China, and brought SFMdigital to a cloud-native platform (AWS) while integrating it with almost all global standard production systems to provide various KPIs to the shopfloor rounds. We also developed a new product with the Product Planning department in Germany and successfully rolled it out globally to all Mercedes Plants. Demonstrated competency in leading multiple projects and teams and making them successful in the long term.

Co-founded and grew an IT software development company from under 10 to over 25 highly skilled engineers in 5 years. Successfully took over most of Mercedes-Benz South Africa's non-SAP application landscape and developed global standard applications for Mercedes-Benz. Managed the entire Mercedes AMS.Small application landscape and gained experience developing systems for various industries and customers, including mining safety and textile manufacturing. Company's engineers formed the base of the Mercedes-Benz IT Hub in South Africa upon joining MBSA.

Gained experience as a software development consultant for DaimlerChrysler South Africa and developed successful systems in domains such as Finance and Production, including Accounts Payable system and realtime shopflloor production data, some of which are still being used today. Gained deep knowledge in key Mercedes-Benz systems and a broad understanding of the company's system landscape and processes over the course of ten years in the role.
