
· Responsible for managing labor of about 689 employees.
· Ensuring that movements with the section or crews are aligned to the business plan to avoid lost blasts due to shortage of labour or critical skills.
· Fostering cooperation and teamwork among team members and stakeholders within the operation.
· Ensuring that plan or schedule for legal's and leaves is in place to avoid having medical and training blocks which can harm daily production focus.
· Managing daily labor planned and unplanned absenteeism.
· Advising management on disciplinary processes and procedures.
· Administering end to end recruitment process, onboarding and terminations processes.
· Weekly reporting on labour availability, attendance and other KPIs such as data integrity,managing employee movements, promotions/demotions and transfers.
Managing legal and mandatory compliance
