Germaine Songola is a detail oriented and safety focused Fitter Machinist with fourteen (14) years’ working experience in the Engineering and Manufacturing Industry. Germaine always believes that his hands-on experience coupled with the growing knowledge he gained during his studies and during field work prepared him to make a solid contribution in any Mechanical Engineering related field. With a solid foundation in Fitting and Machining, Germaine is always prepared to put his knowledge and abilities to deliver the best results in everything that he does, while gaining immeasurable experience and skills to advance in his career pursuit. Germaine is a self-motivated, goal oriented driven individual who believes in lifting and empowering others through the knowledge he has acquired, and experiences gained overtime.

• Successfully implemented a health and safety internal preparation audit to ensure statutory compliance when external inspectors came for audit.
• I worked with the designing team in installing a fixed hydraulic Hoist in the plant to reduce the time spent on Manufacturing. This reduced the safety risks artisans were exposed to.

• To one day complete MBA degree and to be heavily involved in the business side of Engineering.
• To one day hold a G.C.C qualification and improve the safety and wellness of the Engineering sector.
• To one day make the world a better place by innovating, designing, creating, manufacturing, building, coding and modify the whole world surrounding me.
• To Complete advanced Project Management courses and acquire PMP certification.
• To one day open a Training Skills Centre for engineering students from disadvantaged backgrounds so that they can fit into the market with good training.
• To further increase my knowledge within the Engineering and Management fields.
