Summary

I am a Public Administrations graduate (2001) from Vista University, now part of the Northwest University also Honours graduate (2010) with Unisa and completed my qualifications in Labour Relations and the Public Sector. I have been granted registration at the new levels with SABPP as a Human Resource Practitioner Generalist, in 2007 registration number 7214.

I am appointed to Eskom since 1st September (2008). Having worked in Human Resources Environment I have interacted with various people at different levels of the project, who stimulated my passion for Human Resources Management. I have noted with interest that this isa skill that is central to Sasol’s vision of being a High-Performance Utility going forward.

With my experience as a Generalist, I have been undergoing. I was deemed competent by various training institutes on the following courses: Occupationally Directed Education and Training Practitioner (OD ETDP), Facilitator, Assessor, Moderator and Design and Development of learning material, Human Resources Management Industrial Relations, Organisational Behaviour, Training and Development. Living in both large and small working environment, I would be able to adapt easily to your learning environment to which you may assign me.

I have 27 years’ experience in Human Resources Management working environment. I am confident that I meet your organisational requirements as generalist.   • FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS/ACTIVITIES
  • 1. Recruitment - Sourcing of CV’s - Perform telephonic Interview for selected candidates for available positions - Schedule assessments and interviews - Processing all documentation relating to new engagements - Keep accurate records on all recruitment - Reference check selected candidates
  • 2. Transformation/ Organisational Development and change management - Scan the environment to identify major changes and driving forces in the business environment that will impact on the organisation’s performance. - Interpret such information and take necessary action to equip the organization to meet such challenges - Provide process facilitation to assist management deal with Managers organizational problems - Advise on organizational and job design and maintain such - Manage projects associated with change and transformation to ensure implementation on time and within the budget - Monitor project effectively
  • 3. Learning and Talent - Assurance and Monitoring of learning programs ( Learnerships) - Identity key training and learning interventions - Monitor training programs and take corrective action where required - Identify and manage learning projects that need to undertake in the field in the field of skills development - Monitor project effectiveness - Source external training providers, facilitate/make logistical arrangements for training interventions
  • 4. Remuneration and Benefits - Performs market research and advises on appropriate positioning of market categories - Modelling, trending and reporting of remuneration - Monitor manpower costs - Provides inputs and does quality assurance (audits)of direct and indirect remuneration practices - Ensure compliance to legislation and conditions of service - Staffing and selection administration and monitoring
  • 5. Health and wellness - Analyse management information required for effective occupational health management and methodologies for collecting such information. This could include incidence of deceases such as HIV/Aids - Communicate such information to various stakeholders - Monitor occupational health practices and take the necessary action to ensure compliance with procedures and legislation - Initiate, occupational health policies and practices - Facilitate health and wellness services delivery - EAP co-ordination.
