These include the fire and gas alarm and trip systems, gas detectors, flame detectors, Smoke detectors, Helideck oscillating monitors, and deluge systems. Performs Root cause analysis to determine the cause of defects, and incident investigations such as plant trips and safety deviations. Maintenance, repair, and fault finding on the Nuovo Pignone power turbines Mark IV control system, the calibration and stroke checking of the 2nd stage nozzles (LVDT), calibration of anti-surge valves, and setting of the vibration and speed sensor probes. The same duties are done on the Solar Gas Turbines as well. Maintain the control system of the Refrigeration compressors. (Sulzer) including the stroking of the guide vanes, hot gas bypass valve, and temperature control valve. Maintain instrumentation on the air compressor systems and freshwater maker systems. I have knowledge of the different hazardous areas and their classifications, also work with SAP R4.7 plant maintenance module with regard to ordering of spares, creating work orders, loading of history, and feedback on work orders, and perform other administrative duties such as engineering queries and follow up on queries and feedback. Do modifications and commission the new loops, including the installation and calibration of Westlock Icot Intelligent positioners on the Masoneilon valves and Fieldvue DVC5000, DVC2000, and DVC6000 smart positioners on existing Fisher control valves.
