Freddie Manyate

As a diploma graduate in ICT with a passion for technology, innovation, and community impact, I have excelled both academically and professionally. Recognized as one of the Top 15 Young Geeks of 2024, I served as a web developer for the CTLPD and held the position of President in the Geekulcha Student Society. Over the past three years, I dedicated my time to mentoring students, teaching computer literacy and programming to underserved youth, and coaching robotics teams, fostering a love for technology within my community. My commitment to innovation is evident through numerous hackathon successes, including securing 1st place in the ITWEB Security Summit Hackathon and receiving other national accolades. In my leisure time, I enjoy chess as a mental exercise, providing balance to my technical pursuits. Additionally, I am an avid gamer, enjoying games such as PUBG and Far Cry. I take great pride in my track record of success in hackathons and datathons, achieving 1st place in the ITWEB Security Summit Hackathon 2022, 3rd place in the DIRISA Datathon 2022, 1st place in the SNODE-SPU Hackathon 2023, 2nd place in the ITWeb SS24, and receiving awards for Best Blue Team and Best CTF Team. Through education, mentorship, and community service, my goal is to harness technology to inspire growth and create lasting positive change.
