Head of Research and Development Department.

• I played a major role in the overall improvement of our batteries and the company experienced a monthly revenue increase of about R4 million within 7 months of me making drastic changes to the batteries.
• Testing and Implementing new Technology.
• I handled all communication of new Technology and Company Request’s with our Chinese suppliers and agents.
• I Also handled the communication between our engineering department and clients which required me to frequently fly between Johannesburg and Cape Town where I would meet up with clients ensuring company presence and support.
• I requested to do this personally since this allowed me to get a customers point of view which allowed me to make multiple changes which improved our batteries.
• Improve the capabilities & user experience of the batteries.
  Reduce build cost & time of manufacturing while maintaining high quality work with innovative solutions.
• Design and manufacture custom PCB’s.
• Solving all battery problems that came up by running countless test’s and simulations which allowed me to help the company through the growth pains.
• Implementation and remote analysis of Telemetric & GPS Units.
  

Engineering Director’s Assistant.

• Take over the role and duties of the Engineering Director when he is out of office or in meetings, allowing company to still manufacture at the required pace.
• Operate industrial foam, aluminum & steel Laser Cutters and designing the files required to be cut.
• I Would mainly design the foam that houses all the electronic components like contactor's, battery management systems and cabling walkways.
  

Running the High Voltage Department.

• Build Locomotive and High Voltage batteries per client specifications.
• Overseeing the locomotive projects and guiding the team of engineers and technicians.
• Design and manufacture the control unit of the locomotive from scratch.
• Design and manufacture custom PCB modifications per request as different clients needed different requirements and functioning capabilities for different batteries.
  

• Overseeing the staff on all technical operations like streaming, sound, lighting and media.
• Improving and redesigning existing systems to allow the church to look professional and ensuring a high quality experience.
• Oversaw and researched all new equipment & technology required for our new building and how it would be wired, what is required and how much it would cost.
• Designing and overseeing production for special events like Easter & Christmas plays.
• Attend church board meetings and provide insight on requirements or finances needed regarded any technology or shortcomings at church.
• Give training to staff on their role and what would be expected from them.

• I Freelanced as a DJ and Audio Engineer for multiple different event companies.
• DJ at 100+ weddings.

• Installations of large and small solar systems - Biggest installation was a 250KW grid tied system with automatic generator backup and 450 solar panels for Transerve in Middelburg. I Was tasked with designing and building all the AC and DC combiner boxes since my wiring and neatness was outclassing the rest even tho I was the junior technician. I Also had a hand in all sections of the project from jackhammering the trench for the main powerlines to commissioning the system with a 26 hour continues work shift.

• Audio engineer and IT Technician at conferences like Afrgri SA and the SACRS International conference in Cape Town.
• Installation of sound systems for churches and schools.
• Soldering of audio plugs and cabling.
• Repairing and maintenance of audio mixing desks.
