  • My current position requires someone who has a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem-solving and a drive to see things through to completion, currently the OLGA, C4C and Salesforce Champion for Aftersales both Construction and Mining, supported by the Caterpillar team, Product Managers, Marketing team & Product Support Coordinators for different Regions within Africa to capture, update and maintain data on behalf of their Aftersales teams for customer coverage purposes.


  • Duties: Current Head Champion for OLGA, C4C, Salesforce for Aftersales construction and Mining, which entails managing, maintaining data accuracy in the systems, Quarterly and Annual Audits, training users on all three systems including SAP functionality, Supporting the forecast team in AMT , Presentations for management, complying with CAT Data Dashboards, PSE’ management, Sales and Opportunity management, POPS-C reporting, Machine population reporting for connected assets, CVA reporting just to name a few, CAT & BWE initiated projects, supporting product managers with pricing & discounting within the system, troubleshooting and analyzing data, supporting the Aftersales teams within Regions at an LOB level, customer coverage reporting, PSSR coverage, Regional data management, supporting the Marketing team with their data. Travelling to Regions to give support, adherence of set out projects and Audit and interacting with customers.
  • Systems used – OLGA, C4C, Salesforce, CAT Foresight, CAT Cognos, AMT (Asset Management Tool), SIS, SAP ECC, CPA (Back end) CRM, & Microsoft ((Ms. word, Excel Advance, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner, Power BI).

  • The position demands someone who has a lot of attention to detail, exceptionally good with analyzing data, an advanced candidate in Excel as we work with reports day in day out, can interpret data, a lot of presentations to managers, MARC Sites, very intensive travelling, good interaction with both junior and senior personnel, speed and deadline driven.
  • I also support all the Sites in Africa for Barloworld on the system called AMT, meaning, should they require any report, Financial, Contract or Equipment based, it needs to be updated and ready, conduct training for all personnel who will use the system on site, give the correct access & authorizations. The position is a Systems Specialist position which is integrated into Financial Analysis, a lot of dedication and consistency is essential in it & most importantly, it’s a self-driven job, where you work independently yet submitting required reports & giving System support to the Sites at the same time.
  • Duties: Specialist in AMT System (Asset Management Tool), Presentations for management, assisting African sites with any system issues, financial reporting, training new users on the system, component forecasting for the company, Strategic planning, Contract Management, merging life cycle costs with the system costs, working alongside Sites, engineers & Finance department constantly for enhancements of the system, integrating AMT System with SAP ECC & CRM for better functionality.
