- HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER, MAY-2015 TO PRESENT Responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and selection, advertising, short listing, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews and renewal of contracts
- Induction of new employees which includes; preparing and administering human related documentation such as contracts, offer letters, staff handbook ensures all new employees pass through Safety training and issuance of IDs
- Promote and foster employee relations; Ensure industrial harmony through effective communication, employee involvement, and fair application of labor laws of Zambia, policies and disciplinary procedures
- Assist Management in the formulation and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
- Promote equality and diversity
- Ensures expatriates meet the statutory requirements to work in Zambia and execute their jobs
- Facilitates continuous staff training and development programs and ensures all employees license and professional subscriptions, registrations are up to date
- Facilitates meetings between trade unions and management when required
- Make sure all employees are registered with the relevant statutory bodies such as National Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA), Workers Compensation Fund
- Ensure accurate compensation and benefits for staff such as: gratuity, pensions, terminal benefits and redundancy and separation benefits
- Strategically aligning human resources needs such as work performance of employees with organization needs, to achieve maximum work output
- Payroll coordination liaise with the Accounts department to ensure accurate payroll information is processed
- Maintenance of employee records and update information
- Responsible for staff welfare such has registration and maintenance of medical schemes of employees and their dependents
- Report writing, take minutes during meetings - when required
- Diligently execute all duties with high levels of confidentiality, and manage all human resource related queries
