• Sign off job cards for jobs complete in n timely manner

• Ensure effective maintenance of equipment and their related equipment

• Ensure optimal utilization and availability towards maximizing production and throughput schedules

• Timeously identify and report defects, equipment failures to the Supervisor

• Ensure installation, commissioning of equipment and components

• Record job statistics including duration, failure mode, failure root cause, parts used importance, observation, etc. on specified documentation, with utmost tidiness, care and accuracy

• Accepted ownership of breakdown situations and managed all aspects corrective work up to the point of resolution or escalation

• Always maintain housekeeping and safety standards

• Prepare and refurbished plant spares

• Maintenance and repairs on the following:

- Conveyors

- Compressors

- Gearboxes

- Sprockets and Chains

- Pneumatic solenoid valves and cylinders

- Welding

- Lathe work

- Milling machine

- Bearings

- Centrifugal pumps

- Fans

- Rotary feeders
