Driven and passionate, I am a young legal professional who thrives in challenging environments. Holding a Bachelor of Laws Honours (LL.B) and a Professional Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Cape Town, I constantly enhance my knowledge and skills for a successful and fulfilling specialized career in Law for which I have developed a strong passion. I am currently a Candidate Legal Practitioner at ENSafrica, the biggest Law firm in Africa, which according to The Legal 500, has been ranked as a top-tier firm for general business law in Africa and a leading law firm in Africa by IFLR1000 with a top honours within IP in the 2023 World Trademark Review WTR 1000 by being one of only four firms in SA recognised with a Gold Ranking.

Working alongside experienced legal practitioners in a challenging environment, on various legal matters and gaining hands-on experience in different practice areas, such as Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law. Acquisition of essential expertise that covers Legal Drafting, Legal Research, Advocacy, Administration of Estates in continuous throughout.

The rotational system of the programme enables candidates to gain experience across different practice areas, which is advantageous in helping them to identify their strengths and interests.

Training Centre (JTC) provides a range of legal training programmes that are designed to enhance the capacity of legal professionals who wish to qualify for admission by a Bar Examination - Legal Practitioners Qualifying Examination (LPQE), to practise law under the Legal Practitioners in terms of Act 15 of 1995.

The programme extends for a period of at least 9 months and comprises the following subjects:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare emails to Clients which sets out at a high-level the following:

  • (a) Legal analysis of the merits of their assertion of a trade mark infringement;
  • (b) S&W's recommended course of action in the relevant matter;
  • (c) Remedies generally available for trade mark infringement, should the claim end up being resolved by court action.
  • Perform Trade Mark Dispute and advise clients on a possible trade mark infringement and their best course of action
