Art
I am a people-oriented, adaptable person, shaped by moving to different provinces and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. I showed leadership early on as a prefect in both primary and high school and earned several academic awards along the way. I stay active by going to the gym and spending time outdoors, and I enjoy expressing my creative side through art. Coming from a big, close-knit family has taught me the value of empathy and teamwork.
While working at Bornman & Hayward, I gained a wide range of knowledge, which includes the following,
• Gained practical exposure to litigation by observing proceedings in the High Court and various Magistrates' Courts.
• Assisted with lifting, filing, and managing court documents, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
• Engaged with Magistrates' Chambers to facilitate administrative and procedural tasks.
• Conducted FICA compliance checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
• Performed legal research on case law and legislative frameworks to support attorneys in drafting arguments and opinions.
• Drafted legal documents, including particulars of claim, summonses, and other court pleadings, developing strong drafting and analytical skills.
This experience has equipped me with a strong foundation in legal practice, procedural knowledge, and practical skills.
